Shining Stars of NCC GDC-Billawar: Inspiring Journey of RDC Holders in 2023

On the 26th of January 2023, India celebrated its 73rd Republic Day with great zeal and fervor. The day marks the adoption of the Constitution of India, which replaced the Government of India Act 1935, as the governing document of India. Every year, the Republic Day Parade is held in New Delhi, showcasing the military might, cultural diversity, and technological advancements of the nation. However, the celebration is not limited to the national capital alone, as every state and district also participates in the event in their own unique way. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is one such organization that plays an active role in the Republic Day celebrations, and the cadets who attend the Republic Day Camp (RDC) are considered as shining stars of the organization. Recently, NCC GDC-Billawar organized an event at their college to appreciate the cadets who attended the RDC 2023. The event was graced by the presence of the Principal Mam Prof Anita Jamwal and CTO Rajani Kumari, who presented mementos to the RDC holders - SUO Sourav Khajuria and JUO Kanav Verma. The occasion provided an opportunity for the two cadets to share their views on the journey of RDC and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
