Enrollment Process for UG 2nd Semester (NEP)2020 at University of Jammu: A Comprehensive Guide

The University of Jammu has released a notification regarding the enrollment process for UG 2nd semester (NEP) 2020 for all the government and non-government degree colleges affiliated with the university. According to the notification, the enrollment process must be completed by the concerned college between 1st March 2023 to 22nd March 2023. The examination fee along with the enrollment list and Form 20(A) must be submitted by the college on or before 25th March 2023. Any left-over students can be enrolled by the college from 6th April 2023 to 10th April 2023, and this list should also be submitted along with the requisite fee and Form 20(A) to the examination section of the university.

The university has requested all the colleges to depute an authorized representative or official to collect the examination forms of regular students of the undergraduate 2nd semester from the Examination UG Section of the University. The examination forms will be issued from 28th March 2023, and after being duly checked, verified, and attested by the Principal, they are required to be deposited in the Examination UG section on or before 24th April 2023. In case of any mismatch in the particulars or subjects of any of the students, the same can be rectified from 16th April 2023 to 20th April 2023 on the University portal. Examination forms submitted after 24th April 2023 shall be entertained/accepted only upon payment of a late fee as may be applicable on the date of submission of forms.

It is important to note that any correction in the examination form of the students must be made by printing fresh examination forms from the Portal after incorporating the relevant correction. In no case will examination forms with manual corrections be entertained. In case of any correction in the name or parentage of any of the students, the matter must be brought to the notice of the Assistant Registrar (Registration), and the same may be made only after seeking approval of the University.

The college must retain a copy or copies of the examination form(s) of the candidate(s) in respect of whom any correction/modification has been made by the college for future reference and record. Any change in the subject(s)/ particulars after the submission of examination forms shall be considered by the University as per its norms/statutes upon payment of requisite fees.

In conclusion, all the government and non-government degree colleges affiliated with the University of Jammu must follow the guidelines mentioned in the notification regarding the enrollment process for UG 2nd semester (NEP) 2020. It is important to adhere to the deadlines and submit the required forms and fees on time to avoid any inconvenience or penalties. Students must also ensure that their examination forms are filled correctly and any necessary corrections must be made within the specified dates.
