Trimoorti Balidan Diwas is observed every year on March 23rd to commemorate the supreme sacrifice made by Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev for the freedom of our country. These three freedom fighters were hanged to death on this day in the year 1931.
The NSS and NCC organized the tribute program at a government degree college to remember the valiant efforts of these brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. The program was attended by students, faculty members, and other dignitaries.
During the program, the college principal delivered a speech on the significance of Trimoorti Balidan Diwas and paid his respects to the martyrs. He emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and urged the students to carry forward their legacy.
The program also included a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs, followed by the laying of wreaths at their portraits. The students and faculty members paid their tributes by offering flowers and lighting candles.
