The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is a common and uniform national entrance test for admission to undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting NEET (UG)-2023.
The NEET (UG)-2023 examination will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions, with 50 questions in each subject of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of the examination will be 200 minutes (03 hours 20 minutes), and it will be conducted on May 7, 2023, from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (Indian Standard Time).
The examination will be conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Candidates can submit their online application forms for NEET (UG)-2023 from March 6, 2023, to April 6, 2023 (up to 09:00 PM). The last date for a successful transaction of the fee is April 6, 2023 (up to 11:50 PM).
MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to the BSc Nursing Course being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2023 are required to qualify NEET.
The fee payable by different categories of candidates for taking NEET (UG)-2023 is as follows:
General - Rs. 1700/- General-EWS/OBC-NCL - Rs. 1600/- SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender - Rs. 1000/- Centers Outside India - $9500/-
Processing charges and Goods and Services Tax (GST) are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.
The date for the announcement of the city of examination and downloading of admit cards from the NTA website will be intimated later. The display of recorded responses and answer keys and the declaration of the result on the NTA website will also be announced later.
