The University of Jammu has released a notification announcing the postponement of 6-subjects examination that was scheduled to be held on 24th February 2023. The notification states that the exams have been postponed due to unforeseen and exceptional circumstances.
The affected exams are for the Under-Graduate 1st Semester for the session 2022-23 (NEP-2020) in papers UMIMAT-102, UMIPYT-102, UMIBTT-102, UMIDGT-102, UMIENT-102, and UMIGOT-102. The exams for these papers will now be conducted on 10th March 2023.
The remaining papers that were scheduled to be held on 24th February 2023 will be conducted as per the earlier schedule. The notification also states that the time and venue for the postponed exams will remain the same as notified earlier.
The notification further directs that a copy of the same be sent to the S.S. to Vice-Chancellor, the Sr.P.A.to Controller of Examinations/Rector Campuses, and all the concerned Principals of Affiliated Degree Colleges for necessary action. The Assistant/Deputy Registrar (Eval.NP/Conduct/Sty./CA to COE/Rev.) has also been notified.
